They usually think that they need some outer source for staying motivated to Blog regularly. Newbie Bloggers always think that some day in future, they will listen to some motivational speaker who will guide them to success and their life will be awesome from that day. Well, my brothers, this is not gonna happen anyway. Although, there are a lot of motivational speakers in all over the world and here are also some Motivational Speakers in Dubai, but they can only tell you what to do, it is only you who can take action. Not only this, the other trends such as SEO and Marketing also waste most of their precious time and left them with no time to spend on Blogging. In Blogging, regular posting is one of the requirements in order to succeed. Though, fulfill of only this requirement is not enough. But most of the bloggers, specially newbies find it very hard to get used to a Blogging habit. This post is for those Bloggers who always in need of some inspiration to write a new blog post.
First things first, this article is not solely focused on some motivational quotations from famous and successful people or other successful Bloggers. But it is much more than that. This post is written on the basis of reality. And at the end of this post you will find what is that reality which will make you successful. Following are the tips for Bloggers, who feel the need of motivation to continue their Blogging.
Don’t Seek Motivation
Yes! You heard that right. Do not seek motivation from others, neither from other blogs, nor from Bloggers. Instead make your own working plan according to your goals and requirements. These posts, photos or videos that you browse for getting motivation are not going to help you in getting successful or making your blog better. Let us try out an example, this is a real life example, this is what happens to most of us.
Let us imagine that you visited some Blog which was similar to your niche. You liked that blog very much. You liked the design of the blog, posts and all that stuff. Then you come to read an article about the owner of the Blogger, describing how he got succeed. You read that article and found how he managed to write 10 posts per week and worked hard on Optimizing his Blog. And now What…? You feel very motivated. Right? This is what you call motivation? Yes, most of you think so. So, then for next 2 or 3 days, you worked hard on your blog. Spend time on doing SEO of your Blog, Designing of your blog and other things. But after 3 days, you will be same old Blogger who is in need of some motivation to get pumped again. You will get to your old habits, you will waste your time procrastinating the whole day and not doing a thing.
All this is pointing to this- Do not seek Motivation. Don’t limit yourself, don’t make yourself dependent on others. You are the best creation of God and you are born with all the motivation and inspiration inside you. You don’t need to seek it from outer sources.
Don’t Compare Yourself
Comparison and Competition is good for knowing your weaknesses and to focus you to do hard work. But not always. You should not be comparing your blog with others no matter how much related they are to your blog. But, it does not mean that you should start spending your whole day sitting free and not doing something for your blog. In this way, you will be doing more harm to your blog instead of any favor. The actual point is you should compete with yourself instead of competing with others. Because others have different situations than you and it is only you who can be compared with you honestly. Got it? Here is a quote from the best Blogger ever, Pete, the owner of Mashable:
I Compete With Myself. If I Have Done More Work Than Yesterday, It Means This Day I am Successful and It Gives Me Peace. If I Have Done Less Work Then Yesterday, It Means Today was Not A Success For Me.Understood?
This is how successful people get to success. They compete with themselves everyday. And to be successful, you should also stop competing and comparing yourself with other Bloggers out there and instead start competing with yourself.
Are You Really A Blogger?
Before starting out Blogging, ask yourself this question: Are You Really A Blogger?. And look for the Answer honestly. A Blogger is not a person who just bought some hosting and a rich keyword domain and then published articles containing Affiliate links and Advertisements. No, Certainly Not. A Blogger is a person who wanted to share his own experience or knowledge on some specific topic. So, if you have something, in which you are interested a lot and have a lot of information that will be useful for others, only then you need to start blogging. And If you are just a random guy, who read somewhere, Make Money Online With Blogging and then bought a domain and hosting by skimming through some articles then you are probably not a Blogger and you should leave this thing as soon as possible. Because then you will be trying to do what you are not intended to and what your heart or mind don’t want to do. So, instead of wasting time on Blogging and then criticizing yourself for not getting success, you should utilize your time on other field in which you are mostly interested.
Don’t Skim Random Articles
Choose your favorite Blogger. Who can help you in Blogging and can provide you with all tools and tips. Choose the one which you admire the most and who cares for his readers. Now follow that Blogger and only that Blogger completely. Don’t surf Internet and Browse random websites and blog posts for getting tips for blogging. Now, you will be laughing at this. Because you might not a regular reader of this blog and may be reading this post for the first time. But this fact is true and you should become a loyal subscriber of this blog from now, if you are not . The main reason behind this is: When you follow one Blogger only then you won’t be looking for resources on other blogs and actually saving time to focus on your Blog. The other thing is you will be getting tips from one person only and will have to listen to one also. What happens most of the time is, you read some post on internet about adding related posts using linkwithin. You followed the tutorial and set up linkwithin for your blog instantly. Then after some days, you read some another post on another blog and read that use of Linkwithin is harmful for your blog, with some given reasons such as SEO effect etc. So now you will go to your blog again and will remove that widget. So, by spending your time on reading two articles, what you got? Nothing. Your Blog is as it was. So, choose your Hero and Follow him from heart. You surely be hitting success soon.
